4WD Operate & Recover Training & Chainsaw Training  

Accredited 4WD operate and recover 4WD training over 2 days is a comprehensive course designed to provide individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to confidently operate and recover four-wheel-drive vehicles in various off-road conditions.

The training consists of a combination of theory-based classroom sessions and practical hands-on exercises conducted in a designated off-road area. The course is delivered by experienced and certified trainers who ensure that participants receive accurate and up-to-date information.

Toddy 4x4 photography tour My very first 4wd experience and did it with Toddy 4x4 photography. I went for the drive, daughter went for the photos, and we all end up smile ear to ear and knowledgeable. Great experience, very patient. Highly recommend to anyone. Great photos and awesome touring

Brilliant Tag Along Trip A huge thanks to Ben and Hayley for a brilliant day out last Saturday (5 Feb) on our beginners tag along tour from Sunny corner to Capertee. Your enthusiasm and respect for nature was captivating, your 4x4 knowledge was amazing and your help throughout the day was brilliant. My son’s confidence in his 4x4 abilities grew throughout the day and he now wants to tackle one of your other tours. As a “beginners” day trip there was plenty to challenge our driving skills beyond just dirt tracks. Thanks again a we hope to be back for another episode.

Great Trips I've done a number of tours now and they have been well planned and arranged. The trips were made to have fun but safe and always good group of people. I would highly recommend Adrenalin Off Road Tours to everyone as long as you have a 4WD. I will be going on many next year.

Awesome Tagalong trips We have done 4 trips with these guys now and have had a great time every time. Their trips are safe, family friendly and take you to some of the most incredible places in NSW. We have learnt how to use our vehicle properly and drive with confidence. We will continue to do trips with Adrenalin!

GREAT DAY OUT Another amazing day out. Thanks for all the research and organisation that goes in to these tours. Ben and the team have created a wonderful culture of inclusion and encouragement. There are no macho heroics. Opting out of an obstacle is totally acceptable, if you opt in you are encouraged and guided to a safe completion. Many families make a day of it, with kids of all ages actively included and welcomed. The plan for the day is clearly communicated and the route well planned with obstacles to conquer and points of interest. We love joining the Adrenalin team and cannot wait for our next tour now we can be back on the road.

Mr I have been on a few tours now with these guys and let me tell you they are fantastic! I had never really been Offroad before and these guys show you everything you need to know to push yourself and your 4wd to the limit! They know all the great spots so you get the maximum benefits! They are very professional and have a very strong emphasis on your safety do you can relax and enjoy yourself.

Capertree/Belanglo/Zigzag/Monkey Gum I completed multiple trip with these guys throughout second half of 2019 and they have been exceptional to deal with. They provided really thorough pre trip briefings for each trip and the communication structures and support on each trip was great. They managed all elements very professionally and i particularly liked the camping/cooking night on the Capertree trip. I have now had trips with them by myself and also with other family members and will be doing a lot more. For someone new to 4WD and camping, dealing with people who know all the tips and tricks and share them with you in a manner that helps build your confidence has been great. Im hooked.

Why do we operate tag along tours?

Well let’s be honest, we’d all love to be soaking up Australia’s incredible outdoor locations right? When Ben and Hayley founded Adrenaline Off Road their vision was to make it easy for anyone to not only upgrade their 4WD but then enjoy it by getting off the beaten track. They realised there were hundreds of people that are new to 4WD’ing, perhaps didn’t have the confidence to go into the bush on their own or have the knowledge to take their vehicle off road in a safe manner. 

We wanted to solve all of those everyday challenges by offering tag along tours to the some of the best locations Australia has to offer.

Why do people love our tag along tours?

Our team has more than 20 years of off-roading experience and have been on adventures to some of the most incredible locations around Australia. That passion for exploring Australia is infectious and we wanted to make it easy for everyone to enjoy this as well. People love coming on our tag along tours because we can help prepare the vehicle beforehand at our workshop and then we support you while you are on the tour as well. 

It’s the best of both worlds – get everything professionally set up on your vehicle & then learn how to use it while knowing if something goes wrong, we are here to help. We make it simple to choose a tour you’d like to join and then have your vehicle checked and prepared at our workshop in Narellan.

Who does our tag along tours suit?

Our tag along tours are very inclusive and cater to first time four wheel drive owners or experienced owners alike. If you love exploring we will take you to unique locations and show you things you may not otherwise find, or have the experience to get to on your own. You get to do this with other enthusiasts and families who love being outdoors too!

We find that many people aren’t interested in joining a 4WD club and are fearful of going on a tour with an online 4WD group that doesn’t have insurance – we fill that gap, you can participate in a tour whenever you like with complete peace of mind.

What skill levels are required?

We have different tours to suit your experience level with choices including one day 4WD beginners tag along tours as well as 7 or 14 day touring trips that will venture anywhere in Australia including locations like:

  • The Simpson Desert
  • Victoria High Country
  • Hay River
  • Sunny Corner State Forest
  • Cape York
  • Flinders Ranges

Come experience the natural locations Australia has to offer in an environment that caters from beginners and standard vehicles right up to the hard core extreme tracks, or remote area tours.

Create your own custom made tag along tour

We are also available to build and lead a private or corporate tour of any length to any location should you and your friends or colleagues want your own group and destination. We can create a bespoke itinerary that can even be catered with all the access permits and fees organised to visit a particular area sorted for you & your group.

Frequently Asked Question

Adrenalin Off Road Tours reserves the right to cancel or alter any tour or course at any time. In the event that we have to cancel a tour or course, a full credit or refund will be offered. Please note that tour/training credits are non-refundable.

Weather Cancellations: In the event a tour needs to be rescheduled due to weather (flood, fire, etc) we will advise of an alternate date around the time of postponement and credit will be applied towards that tour/training.

If for any reasoning you need to cancel, the following applies:

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Cancelling due to change of mind – non refundable
  • Cancelling once full payment has been made:
    • TOURS 22+ days – A credit note for the full amount will be given
    • TRAINING 22+ days – $150 cancellation/rescheduling fee per participant. 
    • 21 – 14 days before date of tour – 50% refunded or credit note for full amount for tours
    • 13 – 7 days before date of tour – 25% refunded or credit note for full amount for tours
    • Under 7 days until date of tour – no refund or credit note given.

Upon booking, Adrenalin Off Road Tours will contact you with confirmation of booking, departure location and time and what you will need for the tour.

Damage and break downs will be assessed on the trail. If repairs are possible, they will be carried out. If repairs are not possible the car will be towed at the owner’s requests and expense.

Some of our tours allow heavy duty off road camper trailers. Camper trailers will incur extra surcharge to cover extra camping cost and barge fees where applicable. Please contact us to discuss if your camper trailer is suitable.

You must have Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance that covers your vehicle for off road use to attend one of our tours. Please check with your insurance provider prior to booking with us. 

Children are welcome on our tours. Children under 18yo need to be supervised at all times by a parent/teacher/guardian.

The minimum number on all tours is 3 customer vehicles unless otherwise arranged.

Pets are allowed on tours that do not go through a National Park. Please contact us prior to the tour if you wish to bring your pet and we will advise.
We are first aid certified and we carry a first aid kit in case the need arises. We will also advise on each tour if we are carrying a satellite phone or a PLB.
