Join us for an advanced Adventure Club day trip to Spanish Steps in the Blue Mountains on Saturday 8 August 2026.
We’ll be meeting in Lithgow before heading out for a fun day of technical four-wheel driving with the Adrenalin crew.
The Trip
This Adventure Club trip is all about spending a fun day on the tracks, tackling technical terrain and enjoying proper four-wheel driving with a group of like-minded 4WDers.
Spanish Steps is known for its sandstone rock ledges, uneven steps and technical sections. Careful wheel placement, low-range driving and previous off-road experience will be essential.

This is an advanced 4WD trip. Drivers must have previous
four-wheel-driving experience and vehicles must meet all listed
requirements.
What The Trip Is About
This trip is built around enjoying a fun day out wheeling through the Blue Mountains with the Adrenalin crew and other Adventure Club members.
Spanish Steps features a series of natural sandstone ledges and rocky steps that require careful line selection, controlled low-range driving and good vehicle placement.
Expect technical tracks, rocky sections, plenty of time behind the wheel and a great day out with people who enjoy proper four-wheel driving.

What Is Included
This Adventure Club trip is a guided 4WD day experience through the Lithgow and Blue Mountains area. You will travel with the Adrenalin crew and other Adventure Club members while tackling a selection of advanced tracks.
Adrenalin Crew
Travel with experienced 4WD guides who will assist with track navigation and convoy management.
Technical Tracks
Sandstone ledges, rocky steps, steep sections and changing track conditions.
Adventure Club Crew
Spend the day with members who enjoy challenging tracks and proper four-wheel driving.
One-Day Adventure
A full day on the tracks with no camping or overnight equipment required.
What You Need To Bring
You will need to bring your own lunch, snacks, drinking water and personal supplies for the day. Please arrive with a full tank of fuel and a vehicle that is properly prepared for advanced four-wheel driving.

4WD Requirements
- Low-range 4WD
- Rated front and rear recovery points
- All-terrain or mud-terrain tyres
- UHF radio
- Suitable recovery gear
- Vehicle in good mechanical condition
Experienced Drivers Only
This trip is suitable for experienced four-wheel drivers who are comfortable using low range and driving steep, rocky and uneven terrain. This is not a beginner-level trip.
Day Trip:
Participants are responsible for their own lunch, drinking water, fuel,
recovery gear and personal supplies for the day.
