Our Canning Stock Route 4WD Trip is being planned for April 2027, with approximately 21 days travelling south to north through some of the most remote desert country in Western Australia.
This Adventure Club expedition will take on one of Australia's most iconic remote 4WD routes, with desert tracks, historic wells, remote camps and hundreds of kilometres of genuine outback travel.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Adventure Club members before the exact April dates, trip costs and final logistics are confirmed.
The Canning Stock Route 4WD Trip will follow the legendary Canning Stock Route through remote Western Australia. The route is famous for its desert landscapes, long stretches of isolation, historic wells and demanding remote-area travel.
Our proposed Adventure Club trip will travel south to north, beginning from the Wiluna end and travelling toward Billiluna.
We are allowing approximately 21 days for the journey. The aim is not to race through the CSR, but to give the group time to explore, enjoy remote camps and experience one of Australia's great 4WD expeditions properly.

The Canning Stock Route is one of Australia's most legendary remote-area journeys and a bucket-list destination for experienced 4WD travellers.
Stretching through Western Australia's interior, the route follows a chain of historic wells originally established along the stock route.
Today, travelling the CSR means experiencing vast desert landscapes, spinifex country, sand dunes, historic sites and extraordinary isolation.
This Canning Stock Route 4WD Trip is exactly the type of expedition the Adventure Club was created for.
We will travel through genuinely remote country as a group, tackling the route together, setting up remote camps and experiencing the changing landscapes of the CSR.
Extended 4WD travel through some of Australia's most isolated desert country.
Discover historic wells and remnants associated with the original Canning Stock Route.
Remote camps, campfire nights and huge outback skies throughout the journey.
Experience the CSR with other like-minded Adventure Club members and the Adrenalin crew.
The Canning Stock Route is extremely remote and this trip will require participants and vehicles to be properly prepared for extended remote-area travel.
Final vehicle and equipment requirements will be provided once the trip is confirmed. Participants should expect to carry sufficient fuel, water, food, camping equipment, recovery equipment and personal supplies.
This is not a normal weekend 4WD trip. Vehicles must be mechanically sound and properly prepared for extended travel through isolated desert country.
Self-Sufficient Trip:
Participants will be responsible for their own food, water,
fuel, camping gear, recovery equipment and personal supplies
unless otherwise advised in the final trip information.
We are currently working through the costs associated with the Canning Stock Route 4WD Trip.
Final Adventure Club trip costs will be confirmed once exact April dates, participant numbers, permits and logistics have been finalised.
Participants should also expect to cover their own fuel, food, supplies and personal travel expenses.
Travel along the Canning Stock Route requires permits and passes through Country managed by Traditional Owner groups.
Final access arrangements and permit requirements will be confirmed as part of the trip planning process.
