About the Event

 Please note: BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL ON THIS TRIP - Limited positions available. First 10 paid registrations will be accepted.

This trip will cover intermediate terrain around the Lithgow area. We will be meeting at the Lithgow, having a very quick drivers briefing, then heading in to do some trails. Throughout the course of the day we will cover some driving and recovery techniques, and vehicle setup. We will be stopping along the trail for lunch. You should plan to be out for the entire day. We will be travelling on public roads both whilst on-road and off-road, so regular NSW road rules apply.

Some obstacles on this trip are optional, and bypasses are available on some but not all of the trails. Should you not feel comfortable attempting any obstacle, please advise your trip leader and you will be shown the alternate bypass route if available. If you do attempt an obstacle and are unsure about completing it, contact the trip leader by radio and you will be assisted in either backing out of the obstacle if safe, recovered by one of the other vehicles on the trip, or assisted with a self recovery if possible.

A BBQ lunch will be provided with a can of soft drink!

Registration Fee: $130 per vehicle (Max 10 vehicles) - $15 per passenger. Contact us at the store to pay your registration fee and get a copy of the registration form.

Bonus: 10% off any upgrades or products on the vehicle participating between the time of registration and the trip

Meeting point/time: Lithgow McDonalds, 8AM Sharp

Experience requirements: Basic 4WDing experience, covering rock terrain driving. Call us at the store if you require clarification.

Minimum vehicle requirements: - Must have at least 1 rated recovery point fitted (tow hitch schackles are acceptable) - Vehicle must be road registered and in road going condition - Comprehensive vehicle insurance which covers off road use - Raised suspension - Off road tyres

What to bring: - Recovery equipment (minimum snatch strap and 2 shackles) - UHF Communication (Car mounted or handheld are OK) - Hat and sunscreen - Drinking water for you and any passengers
