Belanglo State Forest - Beginners Drive Day
Time & Location
About the Event
Please note: BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL ON THIS TRIP - Limited positions available. 10 vehicles per trip (this includes driver & passengers)
This trip will cover beginner terrain around the Belanglo State Forest area. We will be meeting at the shop, having a very quick drivers briefing, then heading south in convoy for a short distance. When we arrive at the campground will do a quick talk about tyre pressure and selection then air down and hit the tracks. Throughout the course of the day we will cover some introductory information around driving techniques, recovery equipment and techniques and vehicle setup. We will be stopping at the Belanglo Memorial Site for lunch. You should plan to be out for the entire day. We will be travelling on public roads both whilst on-road and off-road, so regular NSW road rules apply.
This trip has very basic beginners trails with optional challenging play areas. Should you not feel comfortable attempting any obstacle, please advise your trip leader and you will be shown the alternate bypass route. If you do attempt an obstacle and are unsure about completing it, contact the trip leader by radio and you will be assisted in either backing out of the obstacle and, if safe, recovered by one of the other vehicles on the trip, or assisted with a self-recovery if possible.
Registration Fee: $110 per vehicle with driver, $15 per additional passenger - Secure your vehicle spot below with a $50 deposit and you will be contacted by one of our team members to complete your registration or contact the shop on 4648 2085 to pay your full registration.
