Meet Our Team of
4WD Enthusiasts

It isn’t just a job, its a way of life!

Ben and Hayley carefully choose their staff to work at Adrenalin Off-Road Centre and the biggest pre-requisite is they have to be a 4WD enthusiast.

Every conversation you have about a part, accessory, upgrade or tag-along tour will be with someone that enjoys getting into the great outdoors with their 4×4.

The team either own or have owned 4WD’s and have gone on all kinds of adventures and use many of the products available for sale in their retail store.

How did you get into 4WDing/Camping?
I rented a 4WD Troop Carrier on a holiday and went to Rainbow Beach on Fraser Island in 1998. I was hooked from there!

What was your first 4WD and what do you drive now?
My first 4WD was a 1997 Jeep Wrangler. I now drive a LandCruiser 79 Series for touring and have a Jeep Wrangler for the more technical off-roading.

Favourite place to go 4WDing/Camping
Anywhere in Australia! But if I had to pick it would be either the remoteness, scenery and history of central Australia, or Cape York for similar but warmer reasons.

Top tip for going out 4WDing?
We always tell our tag along tour customers to prepare for anything but expect the unexpected.

Any other interests?
All of my interests involve getting outdoors from adventure bike riding, taking out my Canam Maverick SXS for some fun, hiking, photography, and exploring Australia’s history out on the tracks.

Isabelle & Jeremy

Tour Guides

LAPS7932-HDR (003)

How did you get into 4WDing/Camping/Touring?
Isabelle – When Jeremy and I first got together, he introduced me to the wonderful world of 4WDing and camping. I fell in love with the bush & 4WDing to those real wild spots. We quit our full-time jobs & decided to live a lifestyle of 4WD touring around the country, living out of our Toyota Hilux, which we are still doing to this day.
Jeremy – Going to motorbike events I needed a car to camp in, so I kitted out the Pajero for those weekends away.

What was your first 4WD and what do you drive now?
Isabelle –2019 Grand Vitara, but soon sold it to buy our 2010 Toyota Hilux we built for off-grid, off-road living & technical tracks.
Jeremy – 1993 Mitsubishi Pajero which had a 2-inch lift and extreme muddies. We now have our Toyota Hilux.

What would be your dream 4WD if you had no spending limit!
Isabelle – Single Cab Toyota Tundra 6×6
Jeremy – Chopped to a Single cab Toyota 300 Series Landcruiser 6×6

Favourite place to go 4WDing/Camping?
Isabelle – Wherever there is good bush camping, remoteness and rich history.  But, a favourite spot for me is anywhere in the rugged Victorian High Country. Can’t beat it!
Jeremy – This is a hard one! The Watagans in NSW has great 4WDing and free camping. Love the Victorian High Country too.

Top tip for going out 4WDing?
Isabelle – Be prepared by getting gear suited for your 4WD touring plans. Also remember to let those tyres down!
Jeremy – Going out 4WDing with the right equipment and understanding how to use it all before hitting the tracks is a good idea.

Any other interests?
Isabelle – I love going bush looking for bush tucker, beach fishing, geomorphology, fossicking, learning the history of places we travel to & painting. Just to name a few!
Jeremy – Nothing better then flicking a line and catching a stoinker fish. I play harmonica & jaw harp, enjoy producing videos & fossicking.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself…
Isabelle – I completed a 4 year light vehicle mechanical apprenticeship with Toyota and worked for the V8 supercars in the pits with Brad Jones Racing for multiple races.
Jeremy – We’re on a bit of a bush tucker journey, and I am not afraid to test and try wild bush foods, even a grub or two.
