Simpson Desert SXS Adventure
Drive your own SXS across vast desert country, red dunes, salt pans and remote tracks on a fully supported Simpson Desert buggy adventure from Central Australia.
Take your own buggy on an unforgettable off-road adventure.
Our SXS Buggy Tours are built for owners who want to experience more of Australia from behind the wheel of their own side-by-side. We take care of the planning, routes and logistics so you can concentrate on the tracks, the country and the adventure.
SXS touring is about taking the buggy you already own and using it to experience the kind of country it was built for.
On an Adrenalin SXS Buggy ours, you bring and drive your own side-by-side while our team takes care of the planning behind the adventure. We organise the route, logistics, access arrangements where required and the moving pieces that turn a collection of tracks into a proper multi-day journey.
These aren't simply 4WD tours with buggies added in. Our SXS adventures are built around the capabilities and experience of side-by-side vehicles, taking you into terrain and destinations where the buggy becomes part of the adventure rather than just the transport.
You travel in your own SXS, giving you the chance to experience new terrain in the machine you already know and enjoy. The adventure is yours from behind the wheel.
We take care of the route planning, tour logistics and relevant access arrangements so you don't have to spend months trying to stitch the journey together yourself.
You'll travel with experienced Adrenalin guides and the support of the group throughout the journey. Depending on the tour, support can also include remote communications and additional logistical backup.
The routes and experiences are chosen specifically with side-by-side vehicles in mind. That means more of the tracks, terrain and places where a buggy really comes into its own.
Depending on the destination, an SXS tour can take you through remote desert country, forests, beaches, mountain tracks and some seriously spectacular Australian landscapes. It's about linking those tracks together into a bigger journey and experiencing a destination in a completely different way.
You bring the buggy. We bring the route, support and adventure around it.
Bring your own side-by-side and experience some seriously spectacular Australian terrain with the Adrenalin crew. Choose remote desert country, the legendary Madigan Line or a fully supported adventure through Tasmania.

A proper multi-day SXS adventure can involve tracks, access, permits, accommodation or camps, support, transport logistics and plenty of moving parts. That's the stuff we work out so you can spend more time enjoying your buggy.
We plan how the adventure fits together, from the tracks and riding areas to the places we stop along the way. You don't need to spend months trying to build the trip yourself.
Where permits, permissions or access arrangements are required for the organised tour, we take care of them for you.
You're travelling with an experienced Adrenalin crew and a group of other SXS owners, with tour support and remote communications where required for the adventure.
Multi-day buggy touring can involve much more than simply turning up at a track. We organise the tour logistics so the different pieces of the journey work together.
Our guides lead the route, keep the group moving and make decisions as conditions change along the way. You still drive your own machine and experience the adventure for yourself.
The best part is that you're doing it in your own SXS. It's your machine, your seat and your experience, just with the planning and support around you.
Our aim isn't to pack a trip with unnecessary stops and complicated schedules. The SXS is the reason you're there. We build each adventure around great riding, interesting terrain and destinations worth travelling for, then organise the support and logistics around it.
You bring your buggy. We'll help take it somewhere worth remembering.
From getting your buggy ready before departure to hitting the tracks each day, here's how an Adrenalin SXS adventure comes together.
We'll provide the information you need to prepare your SXS, what to bring, where to meet and any requirements specific to your chosen adventure.
Each driving day starts with a briefing covering the planned route, expected conditions, stops and anything important you need to know for the day ahead.
Then it's into your own buggy. You'll travel with the group through the day's tracks and riding areas with the Adrenalin crew leading the way.
Tracks, weather and access can change. We assess conditions along the way and adjust the route or timing when required to suit what's happening on the ground.
Depending on the adventure, you'll finish the day setting up camp in remote desert country or arriving at your accommodation ready for the next day's drive.
The Simpson Desert and Madigan Line are proper remote adventures. Expect desert tracks, changing conditions, camping and the preparation that comes with travelling through isolated country.
Tasmania has a completely different rhythm. Drive spectacular riding areas during the day, tow between bases when required and finish up at your organised accommodation each night.
Whichever adventure you choose, the aim is simple: spend more time driving your buggy and less time worrying about what comes next.
SXS touring is a little different to joining us in a 4WD. Here's some of the important stuff to know before you load up the buggy and head off.
