Lighting installations for 4WD's
Ok stop drooling over the tough looking stance of this Isuzu with its new light set up.
LED lighting technology has come such a long way in recent years. Gone are the days where you needed a bunch of huge Hella spotties hung off the front bull bar so you could see at night. These days there are so many slim line, powerful, LED options that can be mounted to different parts of the vehicle including the bull bar, side steps, roof rack, canopy or roof mounted platforms.
You can instantly improve your ability to continue driving in the dark of course, but other mixed lighting conditions like heavy rain, snow or fog. If you do a lot of 4WD’ing in Australia you will already know how remote some of this country’s best destinations are. Of course, there are no street lights, towns or cities creating any sort of ambient light in those locations. You can quite literally hold your hand out and not see it, some parts of this country when there is no moon light can be pitch black dark.
So light bars can be installed at our workshop in Sydney to fit to any type of vehicle model with multiple lights placed at the front or the roof to create incredible lighting capabilities. These can be complimented with additional lights on the side or rear of the vehicle that can be used when you are at camp, stopped by the side of the road etc.

Offroad Animal bull bar installation
The first item we installed on this Isuzu MUX was the Offroad Animal No Loop bull bar to replace the factory fitted bumper bar.
Our workshop can supply and install practically any brand or model of bull bar to a vehicle. We have all the equipment, tools and expertise to replace an old one or remove the factory fitted unit.
Once the bull bar is installed we can also set up a winch, lights or other equipment as required so that everything is set up and ready for you to drive away.
For this Isuzu MUX we installed the bull bar first so that we could then mount the new LED light bars to it. As you can see in the photos it gives the Isuzu a pretty tough look, especially in someone’s rear view mirror.
Offroad Animal LED light bar installed
on a Isuzu MUX
The owner of this Isuzu MUX chose to have an Offroad Animal LED Light Bar installed on the bull bar of the vehicle.
For the roof they chose to have a Lightforce 40″ LED light bar installed on the Drifta rooftop tent system. This light bar has an extruded aluminium construction finished with a UV resistance anodised coating.
Both of these LED light bars are designed to handle a mix of moisture, dirt and dust to handle tough 4WD driving conditions.
We had to custom fabricate a pair of laser cut stainless steel brackets to mount the Lightforce LED light bar to the Drifta rooftop tent because there are not any off the shelf brackets to suit.
This is one of the benefits of engaging a Sydney 4WD accessory installer. There are no holes cut in the vehicle & everything is designed to fit together perfectly.
Lightforce ROK9 LED utility lights installed
We also supplied and fitted new Lightforce ROK9 LED utility lights on the sides of the Drifta rooftop tent mounting system. They are an extremely versatile and compact light that can easily placed on a vehicle.
They only use 3W of power but can put out up to 5000K of neutral white light up to 1 LUX at roughly 13 metres away.
They are fully sealed in a cast aluminium housing with a waterproof rating of IP69K. They also have a virtually unbreakable scratch resistant polycarbonate lens to protect it from stones or other debris flying up while driving.
They can be used in a toolbox area, as a winch light, canopy light or where any compact fully sealed LED light is required on a vehicle.
