📍 Tour Description
This adventure kicks off early in the morning in Jamieson, where we’ll meet, run through a quick safety briefing, and outline the day ahead before heading off as a convoy into the High Country.
You’ll take on a range of tracks including:
- Ryan Spur Track
- Boundary Track
- Big River Road
Throughout the day, expect steep climbs, descents, and river crossings, all set against some of the most breathtaking scenery in Australia.
The standout feature of this tour is the climb up Mt Terrible. It’s steep, technical, and incredibly rewarding. Once at the summit, you’ll be greeted with panoramic views across the High Country that make every bit of the climb worth it.
We’ll stop throughout the day for photos and a scenic lunch break, giving you time to soak it all in.
The tour finishes in the afternoon at Marysville, with easy access to camping grounds or the highway home.

Note: One full tank of fuel is sufficient for the day.
🚗 Vehicle & Driver Requirements
- One Rated recovery point
- Vehicles must be registered and roadworthy
- Drivers must hold a valid licence
This is an easy to moderate trip, however drivers should have basic 4WD experience.
No bypass tracks are available, and water crossings are included.

Comprehensive vehicle insurance is required for all participating vehicles.
